Mississippi Cabin Located on the Grounds of Pierce Castle
Nestled beside the Oka-Itsu-Pyah Falls, the Mississippi Cabin is located on Chunky Creek in the Wooded Hills of Eastern Mississippi near Decatur. A quaint and peaceful cabin, available with specific wedding packages only, where you can find the peace and charm of the country outdoors with all the amenities of home. A place to recoup and recharge away from the hustle and stress of everyday life.

Cabin Elopement
For couples interested in having a small scale wedding, the Mississippi Cabin rents for $500.00 for two nights. A $250.00 deposit is required to reserve your dates and is applied to your total charge. Check in time for the cabin is at or after 3 p.m., and check out is at or before 12 noon or your final day. A credit card # on file is required in case of damages. The cabin is smoke free and pet free and no ATVs are allowed on the property. Cabin guests can fish, swim, nature walk, etc., at their own risk. Brides are responsible for providing any additional tables/chairs and décor beyond what is included in the cabin itself. Cleanup requires that all garbage be disposed of in appropriate containers and the cabin to be left in the same or better condition than upon check in. Please note that parking is limited and that all events must be complete by 11 p.m.
Adherence to these policies is strictly enforced and fees may be charged if the policies are not followed.

Cabin Weekend Getaway:

$300.00 and $50.00 cleaning fee
Cabin Stay:

Princess
Ceremony & Ballroom Reception: $4,000.00
$1,000.00 non-refundable deposit is needed to secure your date.
This package ensures your wedding will be the only event happening on the property the day of your wedding and includes the ultimate in exclusive facility privileges. The ceremony can take place at the location of your choice.

- A day-of facility manager to answer questions regarding Pierce Castle property.
- Use of property for engagement photos (appointment necessary to ensure availability).
- Use of 1938 Cadillac on the property for photos/bridal entrance/couple exit.
- Two nights of accommodations (Friday/Saturday) in the Mississippi Cabin.
- Use of the Mississippi Cabin as bridal dressing quarters on the day of the wedding.
- Check-in for Mississippi Cabin is 3 p.m. on Friday and check-out at 12 noon on Sunday.
- One hour of allotted time for rehearsal the night before the wedding, beginning at or after 5 p.m. (Two additional hours may be purchased to host a rehearsal dinner following the rehearsal for $300 which includes tables and chairs under a covered patio.)
- Guardhouse will be available for men’s dressing quarters on ceremony day beginning at 8 a.m.
- All events must be complete by 11 p.m.
- Access to the castle is not included.
Fit For A Queen
Ultimate Venue Rental for Ceremony and Reception: $5,500.00

This package ensures your wedding will be the only event happening on property the day of your wedding and includes the ultimate in exclusive facility privileges. The ceremony can take place at the location of your choice.

- 2 nights in Pierce Castle & 2 nights in Mississippi Cabin.
- Luxuries include: Friday night may be used for the Bride and her Bridesmaids to stay in the Castle. They can enjoy watching a movie in our theater room and wake up refreshed to begin the next day’s festivities. There is a limited capacity of 10 guests in the castle (which is strictly enforced). Check-in time is 5 p.m. Friday and check-out time is 12 noon on Sunday. Guys can stay in the secluded cabin in the forest, where all nonsense will hopefully go unnoticed!
- Check-in for time for Pierce Castle is 5 p.m. on Friday and check-out time is noon on Sunday.
- Check-in time for Mississippi Cabin is 3 p.m. on Friday and check-out at 12 noon on Sunday.
- A day-of facility manager to answer questions regarding Pierce Castle property.
- Use of property for engagement photos (appointment necessary to ensure availability).
- Use of 1938 Cadillac on the property for photos/bridal entrance/couple exit.
- Three hours of rehearsal/rehearsal dinner time. Tables and chairs provided for dinner under a covered patio area.
- Unlimited use of the castle as bridal dressing quarters for pre-approved guest list beginning at 8 a.m. on the day of the wedding.
- The event must be complete by 11 p.m. unless additional time has been purchased.
Decor Package
The Decor Package is separate from the wedding packages but exclusive to the venue. The decorator will work with you on your ideas and plans to make sure the wedding of your dreams is a reality.
Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event you should cancel, ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If your event is cancelled up to 60 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund excluding the deposit. ALL BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN FULL 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED WEDDING DATE. If your event is canceled within the 60 day period prior to your event, there will be NO refund. Payments are the good faith monies required to reserve, book, retain, and secure your desired wedding date, time, and/or vendors.
